Your Questions, Answered

It's okay to have questions.

Honest answers to what most people wonder before their first homeopathy visit — safety, timelines, pregnancy, children, and what to expect with Dr. Ria.

Is homeopathy safe?
Homeopathic remedies are prepared from natural sources in a highly diluted form, are non-habit-forming, and are generally considered gentle for all ages when taken under professional guidance. Always consult a qualified, registered homeopath before starting any remedy.
How long does homeopathic treatment take?
It depends on the condition. Acute complaints can respond quickly, while long-standing or chronic conditions usually need a longer, steady course of care with regular follow-ups so progress can be tracked. Dr. Ria will give you a realistic sense of timelines at your first visit.
Can I take homeopathy with my other medicines?
Homeopathy can often be used alongside conventional treatment. Please tell Dr. Ria about all medicines you take so your care can be coordinated safely. Never stop a prescribed medicine without your treating doctor's advice.
Is homeopathy safe during pregnancy and for children?
Homeopathy is a popular gentle choice for children and during pregnancy because remedies are mild and non-habit-forming. It should always be taken under the guidance of a qualified homeopath, with your obstetrician or paediatrician kept informed.
Does homeopathy have side effects?
Because remedies are highly diluted, they are generally very well tolerated. Any concerns or changes should be discussed with Dr. Ria during your follow-up.
What happens at my first consultation?
Your first visit is an unhurried conversation. Dr. Ria takes a detailed history — your main concern, plus sleep, appetite, temperament and what makes things better or worse — to choose the remedy that fits you as an individual.
Do you offer online consultations?
Yes. Dr. Ria offers both in-clinic and online (video or phone) consultations, with remedies couriered anywhere in India where needed.
Where is the clinic located?
The clinic is at Samridhi Luxuriya Avenue, Clinic Tower G, Sector 150, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201310 — easily reachable from Noida Expressway, Greater Noida West and nearby sectors. Clinic hours are Mon–Sat, 10 AM – 7 PM; Sundays by appointment.
What are the consultation charges?
Acute cases ₹800, chronic first consultation ₹1000, chronic follow-up ₹800. Medicines are charged separately at ₹100 per week. See the Services page for details.
Is homeopathy recognised by the Indian government?
Yes. Homoeopathy is an officially recognised system of medicine in India under the Ministry of AYUSH. The profession is regulated by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), homeopathic doctors earn government-recognised BHMS and MD degrees, and India runs dedicated research councils and homeopathic hospitals.
Is homeopathy slow? I've heard it takes years.
A common myth. Acute complaints — fevers, colds, injuries — often respond quickly. Chronic conditions take longer with any system of medicine because the illness itself is old; homeopathy is honest about that timeline rather than masking symptoms overnight. Steady, visible progress at follow-ups is the goal.
Do the sweet white pills contain steroids?
No. The sugar globules are only a neutral carrier for the remedy. Genuine homeopathic remedies from a registered practitioner contain no steroids or hidden modern drugs. Buying from qualified, registered doctors — rather than unverified sources — is exactly how you stay safe.
Can I take homeopathy along with Ayurveda or home remedies?
Often yes, but tell Dr. Ria everything you take — Ayurvedic medicines, supplements, home remedies like kadha — so your plan can be coordinated and nothing interferes with your remedy.
Do I have to avoid onion, garlic, or coffee during treatment?
Dr. Ria will give you simple, practical guidance with your prescription. In classical practice only a few specific substances may be restricted depending on your remedy — most patients continue their normal Indian diet without difficulty.
